Hi everyone!
I know I have been gone for forever and that has been a concious decision on my part.
I am still reading all of your blogs and updates, but have hit a point where I am not sure if the band is right for me? I worry alot about the actual surgery and also about upkeep of things like fills, etc.
I am looking at things in my life closely- and analyzing many of the things I read in your blogs; both good and bad, about the band.
I had hit a point in my life where I felt this decision needed to be rushed, but have now hit a point where I feel like I need to take some time to think about whether it is right for me.
So, thats where I am. :)

Thanks for the update. I have not gotten the lapband yet so I can't talk from personal experience. I don't expect the lapband to be easy. In fact, my surgeon said that losing weight with the laband isn't easier, it's just a different kind of hard. Unfortunately for me, I've reached my limit and feel it is the last resort. Good luck to you know matter what you decide.
ReplyDeleteSo true about a different kind of hard! I miss being able to take big ass bites of pizza, burgers and hot dogs. But it has helped me control what I eat and don't eat. Has made me kinda normal...rather than crazy and thinking about food and how much 24/7! Nice to see you are back...only you can make the decision for yourself! Stay strong!
ReplyDeleteI was extremely nervous for surgery..people ask me now do you have any regrets, and I say YES that I didn't do it sooner! It's not for everyone but I cry realy tears of joy that I have this amazing tool.
ReplyDeleteI too love my band, its been a wonderful tool.
ReplyDeletehttp://ursulagoddess.org/fatgirl I'd do it again!
